Instructions

🔹 Step 1: Marinate the Beef

  1. In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger juice, and pepper.
  2. Add 1 tbsp oil on top and gently mix to coat.
  3. Cover and marinate for 20 minutes at room temp or in the fridge.

🔹 Step 2: Sear the Beef

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat (~190°C / 375°F).
  2. Add a bit of oil, then sear the beef slices in a single layer, about 1–2 minutes per side, until just cooked.
  3. Transfer to a large mixing bowl to rest.

🔹 Step 3: Make the Hot Sesame Dressing

  1. In a heatproof bowl, combine garlic, chili, and sesame seeds.
  2. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir.
  3. Carefully pour 2 tbsp of hot oil (smoking hot) over the mixture. It should sizzle and release an amazing aroma.
  4. Stir well to combine.

🔹 Step 4: Assemble the Salad

  1. Pour the dressing (and optional chili oil) over the cooked beef in the bowl.
  2. Add pineapple chunks and chopped cilantro.
  3. Toss gently to coat everything evenly.

🔹 Step 5: Serve

  1. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature.
  2. Best enjoyed within 1 hour for freshness.
  3. Garnish with extra sesame seeds or herbs if desired.
